writing, horror, mental health

I’m a writer, counsellor, marketer, PhD researcher, and list-maker from Manchester, UK. My PhD is exploring the therapeutic benefits of reading and writing in addiction recovery, with a specific focus on horror. If I can find a way to yap about films, books, horror, and mental health, I absolutely will do. You are forewarned. Outside of that I work full time in a marketing role; bend to the whims of two cats and a rescue dog; try to swim, run and tap dance as much as I can (not simultaneously); am a more-enthusiastic-than-skilled beginner guitarist.

I am in the process of rejigging this site, but you can have a read of the news below or find out more about my work, recent events, podcasts and projects.
